This is a case study for the development of a design portfolio website built from scratch using code. I’ll talk through the design and build process, outlining how I used HTML, CSS and Javascript to build the site, Github and other tools I used, and how I tested and iterated my designs. I was following a brief provided by CareerFoundry as part of my UI Immersion programme.

The project helped me learn a number of key design and development concepts, which I’ve since used in a real world professional setting. However, the project output – a design portfolio website – is not my real-world design portfolio (which is the site you’re currently on, built with Webflow). I’ve made this case study to highlight my skills and approach to potential employers.
